It is with profound sadness that we share that Jim Roll passed away overnight at his home. He was 87 years old.
For well over four decades, Jim used his remarkable gift to help people throughout Evansville and the surrounding community. Through deep muscle therapy, foot reflexology, and his own special brand of care, he eased pain, restored movement, and helped countless people continue working, caring for their families, and doing the things they loved.
Some people came to Jim every week for 30 or even 40 years. He cared for husbands and wives, parents and children, and sometimes several generations of the same family. Much of his practice grew simply through people telling others, “You need to go see Jim.”
But Jim gave people far more than treatment. He gave them his time, his strength, his humor, his compassion, and his friendship. The people who walked through his door rarely remained simply clients. They became part of his life. Jim knew their stories, their families, their struggles, and their victories. He celebrated when they felt better, worried about them when they did not, and did everything he could to keep them going.
Jim possessed an extraordinary work ethic. He continued caring for clients six days a week well into his eighties and worked until only about a month before his death, when his declining health finally made him stop. Helping people was not merely his occupation. It was who he was.
His healing hands, familiar laugh, unforgettable personality, and generous heart made him truly one of a kind. Evansville has lost a gifted healer, a trusted friend, and a man who made an immeasurable difference in the lives of thousands of people.

After decades of caring for others, our good friend Jim Roll has had to make the difficult decision to close his business due to health issues.
For Jim, this was never just a business. Over the decades, so many of his clients became friends. You shared your lives, your families, your stories, and plenty of laughs with him, while trusting Jim and his own special brand of therapy to keep you moving and doing the things you love.
Those friendships, built over so many years, have meant more to Jim than you may ever know.
As Jim and his wife, Betty, begin this next chapter together, we ask that you please keep them in your thoughts, love, and prayers.
